Well, that stops today! We have a few updates, actually. First, a reminder. You guys should know by now, but take a peek at our Beer Cave, we’re always adding new stuff. We’ve got seasonal beers arriving weekly.

What, you don’t like beer? What? Fine. That’s why we’ve expanded our wine selection a bit. Come check out our new shelf with special wines.

We sort-a like the whole seasonal food thing, so we’ve also added a couple of new items to our prepared food selection.

In addition to all that, we’ve got some other cool stuff.

We plan on having many, many more tastings. We’re in the process of creating a really awesome calender to keep you all in the loop!  (and maybe a newsletter to go along with it?)

Shields Market has an amazing array of prepared foods. Whether you are looking for dinner or a snack, we’ve got you covered. One of the best lunch deals in the Fan is our half sandwich and chips deal. The sandwiches are made daily with fresh ingredients. Everyday Mari and Tank make food for the market. Rosemary roasted chicken, parmesan chicken, meatloaf, chimichangas, and quiche are just a few examples of the ever changing items available in our case to take and heat up for an easy dinner or lunch. Don’t think we’ve forgotten about our vegetarian neighbors though. We also provide to die for tortellini salad, Greek pizza rolls, veggie pockets, cheese calzones, and ricotta pesto pizza (all made with fresh handmade dough).

If you’re in the mood for something sweet we’ve got that covered too, in abundance. Mari makes “smack yo momma  good” cookies. Tank has become a local legend with his carrot cake and bigger than life brownies. He also makes banana bread and apple walnut bread for which neighbors line up. As part of our goal to support the community, we also get desserts from local bakers. Nube of the Steele Grille makes addicting treats such as Snickers peanut butter pie, Bailey’s and butter schnapps cheesecake and Oreo fantasy (if you don’t know what that is, just stop by and get one. It’ll change your life.). We have recently been getting amazing vegan cupcakes from Pearl’s Cupcake Shoppe in fantastic flavors like German chocolate, vanilla raspberry, and orange creamsicle.

So if you need breakfast, lunch, or dinner head over to Shields Market. If you need some munchies or something to just get you through the rest of your day you can find that here too. And at Shields Market you can find fresh, homemade food and treats, which are always better than prepackaged or fast food.
